BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

Pharmacy Benefits Management Services for the City of Houston’s Self-Funded Medical Plans

Proposals from qualified firms to provide third-party Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) services. The selected contractor will administer PBM services in support of the City’s self-funded medical benefit plans, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality prescription drug benefits for employees and their dependents.

PROJECTS OF THIS NATURE TYPICALLY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:

Promotional Items Vendor:

For benefits and open enrollment meetings, the promotional items vendor shall provide end-to-end sourcing, production, and distribution of branded promotional materials that support employee engagement, education, and attendance.

Participant Satisfaction Surveys & Focus Groups:

Administer an annual participant satisfaction survey, including survey distribution, data collection, analysis, and reporting of participant feedback related to plan quality, claims, customer service, and communications. Plan, recruit, facilitate, and summarize focus groups to gather participant feedback and insights on topics provided by the Client.

These details will be determined at the time of the creation of the contract in developing the scope of work for services.
