BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:
Proposals from qualified firms to provide TPA services and CDM services for the City’s self-funded medical benefit plans. The purpose of this procurement is to secure a single partner, under one contract, that can provide integrated TPA services and CDM services as well as effectively manage plan administration, ensure accurate and timely claims processing, provide comprehensive member services, deliver robust data and reporting, cost containment strategies, and implement innovative programs designed to improve employee health outcomes while controlling overall plan costs.
PROJECTS OF THIS NATURE TYPICALLY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:
Benefit Education Webinars
Provide comprehensive, engaging, and compliant education sessions designed to improve employee understanding, enrollment confidence, and utilization of benefits
Design and delivery of live and on-demand benefit education webinars
Train-the-Trainer Sessions
Equip internal teams to confidently educate and support employees year-round.
Year-Round Benefit Communication Support
Provide continuous communication planning and execution to reinforce benefit awareness beyond enrollment periods.
Clinician and Health-Related Services
Provide specialized education and support services tailored to healthcare environments and populations.
Employee Benefit Enrollment Support and Solutions
Ensure employees have a clear understanding of available benefits and receive hands-on assistance during enrollment periods to make confident, informed benefit elections.
Bilingual/Interpreter Services
Promote equitable access to financial and benefits information by providing language support for employees with limited English proficiency.
Paper, Print, and Fulfillment Scope - Projects of this nature involve printing of industry-related material for dissemination to our members, potential members, and the overall community that we serve. The printing requirements are dependent upon the audience that we are targeting and the message that we are attempting to convey to our target audiences.
Mail Management Services Scope - An experienced provider of direct mail processing, data management, and marketing/fulfillment services.
Healthy Onsite Vendor Services
The subcontractor shall provide, install, stock, maintain, and service healthy vending at designated onsite locations.
Staffing Support for Health, Wellness, and Behavioral Health Programs
Provide qualified, credentialed, and experienced personnel to support the operation and delivery of health, wellness, fitness, and behavioral health services. Staffing services shall include recruitment, screening, onboarding, scheduling, supervision, and ongoing personnel management for positions including, but not limited to:
-Exercise Physiologist
-Wellness Coordinator
-Administrative Fitness Center Associate
-Licensed Mental Health Professional (Behavioral Health)
Promotional Items Vendor:
For benefits and open enrollment meetings, the promotional items vendor shall provide end-to-end sourcing, production, and distribution of branded promotional materials that support employee engagement, education, and attendance.
These details will be determined at the time of the creation of the contract in developing the scope of work for services.
